Bella is a 13-pound cat of few words. She speaks softly and rarely, which is either a personality trait or a professional stance on the subject of small talk.
She was adopted once before. Then her family had a baby, needed to move, and Bella came back to foster. None of that was her doing. She takes a little while to warm up to new people now, which tracks.
Once she decides you’re trustworthy, she becomes a committed lap cat who wants to be petted at every opportunity. She gets along with other cats fine — one or two of them. A crowd makes her nervous, so a quieter household is the move.
Bella has done the hard part already. She’s just waiting on the easy part to show up.
