Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee will consider adoptive families in the East Tennessee and surrounding areas only. We want our adopters to be physically close enough to receive the support they need after adoption. Our goal is to make the best rescue match taking into consideration the feline's background and your family's needs. Every cat is different: personality, temperament, energy, comfort with kids and other animals, medical needs and more. We take all these factors into consideration when making a forever-home match. We are very careful about the placements we make. We do our best to match the right cat with the right adoptive home because we want this to be the pet's permanent home.
We appreciate you wanting to bring a cat into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.
We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.
Once your application review is complete, our adoption counselors will call your personal and veterinarian references. We request two personal references that are not related to you. We ask that you let your references know that they’ve been included on your application so that they are prepared to take our call.
If you don’t have any current pets and don’t have a current vet, we can help! Feral Feline Friends works with many veterinarians across Knox county and can provide you with suggestions to meet the needs of your new pet.
Once approved to adopt, our counselors will reach out to you to schedule a meet-and-greet and complete the adoption process.
