Meet Russet and Yukon, quite possibly one of the most unique pairs of kittens FFF has ever seen! As tiny kittens, a Good Samaritan found them under their house with their two other siblings. Sadly, though, no shelters could guarantee they wouldn’t be euthanized because their back legs are… well… backwards. Born with birth defects, Yukon and Russet’s hind legs are all twisted. Luckily, wonky legged kittens were right up their foster momma’s alley! We all knew they may have some mobility issues, but these two have proved that being a little different is just fine with them. Both get around relatively fine, although it is a bit off-putting when you first see them. They don’t jump, but they can climb like it’s their job. They also LOVE to “run” and chase their foster momma’s feet. A definite tripping hazard in the cutest way! They also loved to be carried around together and will nuzzle into the nearest human neck. Russet and Yukon have been together their entire lives, and they must be adopted together. They are good with other cats, older kiddos, and cat-savvy dogs too! They should also be adopted in a single-story home unless appropriate care can be taken so they don’t fall down any stairs (because they will if they start exploring!).
