I'm ready for my new family!

Chuckie

I'm Available
Chuckie has had quite the life already. He was rescued from horrendous conditions on a vacant lot where a trailer had burned down and he was left, then he was adopted by a wonderful woman, only to find himself looking for another home when she sadly died. Throughout all his ups and downs, Chuckie has always maintained is his love for life. He does well with other cats and polite dogs, but he really loves people.

First the bad news: Chuckie used to sneeze a lot. The best vets in the area didn't know why. Finally, our favorite vet discovered a hole in the roof of his mouth that opened into his sinuses. Once sutured, the difference is remarkable. He still sneezes sometimes, but not like he used to and his perpetually drippy nose is considerably better. Oh, and Chuckie only has one eye.

  • Now the good news: you will never find a sweeter, more affectionate cat than Chuckie. When his previous owner was close to death, Chuckie sat on her lap or clung to her shoulder constantly, offering whatever comfort he could. When she passed away, Chuckie mourned. He lost weight and kept to himself. Now that he lives with his original loving fosters, he is back to being his sweet self. Chuckie loves to be petted. In fact, he demands it. He loves to climb onto an inviting lap or shoulder. He seeks ways to reach your face level so he can give head butts. Once Chuckie adopts you as his special person, you will never have to wonder if he is the right one. Just carry a tissue with you. Chuckie is the cat you are looking for.
