Were you raised in a barn!?
Well, actually...I was! My momma is a feral cat who came to the barn to raise her kittens. She comes and goes, but I only knew the inside of the barn.
One day me and my momma were trapped as part of TNR. Because momma is feral she was spayed and vaccinated and returned to come and go on the farm.
I was ok living in the barn with my one other surviving sibling. But when my sibling disappeared, the nice farmer thought I might be better in rescue so that I wasn't alone and would be safe. So rather than be returned, a decision was made to socialize me for a safe inside home. I was ok with that too! I quickly decided that pets and head scratches and a warm inside bed are a pretty good deal.
Haygirl is a sweet kitten still getting used to the inside life. She can be apprehensive at first, but you will realize she's worth the effort when you hear her purr.
