Dave will need you to have a little patience as he learns to trust you. He will let you pet him while he's eating... and boy does he LOVE to eat! He will sit on your lap to enjoy a lickable treat, but he doesn't like quick movements. He has been around kiddos of all ages, and he’d do best with older kids if any. He would do best in a home with older children and no dogs. He would also do best in a home without dogs. He does LOVE other cats though and wants to play with them and do whatever they do. He is very playful and loves to chase balls and springs around the house. With a little patience and time he will be a great addition to your household.
