Sparks is what we like to call a perfectly imperfect kitten—and once you meet him, you’ll understand why we’re so obsessed. Sparks has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as wobbly cat syndrome. It just means his balance is a little off because his cerebellum didn’t fully develop—but to him? It’s no big deal. He’s a totally normal kitten… just with a little extra wobble and a lot of extra charm. This boy lives for other cats. He may take a minute to warm up, but once he decides someone is friend material, it’s game on. He’ll literally launch himself across the room to join in on the fun. Sparks can also do well with cat-savvy dogs, as long as they’re cool with his sudden, wobbly movements. And humans? His absolute favorite. Sparks will yell for your attention and throw himself into your legs for pets. His purr is HUGE, and he’s always ready to show it off the second you pick him up. Sparks is trained to use large washable pee pads and does a great job. If he misses, it’s usually right next to the pad. Because of this—and because he sometimes mistakes carpet for his pee pads—he’ll need a home with hardwood or other hard flooring (no carpet) to help set him up for success. Due to his CH, Sparks will also need a one-story home or a space safely blocked off from stairs. We think Sparks is absolutely perfect exactly as he is. Is he perfect for YOU?
