Scooch is a special boy looking for a special adopter! Scooch began life with his feral momma, but his story took a turn when she was carrying him across the road in her mouth and she was hit by a car. Scooch suffered a deep puncture wound from the accident, and as he recovered in later care, it was discovered that he couldn’t use his back legs. Scooch has a congenital spinal defect where two of his vertebrae aren’t fully developed. The spinal issue isn’t due to the collision and was just luck of the draw.
