Sunshine Sunflower is 14 years old and spent her entire life outside a local business. She had a routine and feeders she trusted. Then the business sold, and the new owners kicked her out.
She landed in a foster home fast, but she had never lived indoors. Trusting her foster mom took time. Now she creeps out of her cat tower twice a day for wet food and greets her foster mom with soft purrs and a moderately forceful head butt.
Sunshine keeps to herself and gets very nervous when picked up. She doesn't mind other cats, but she won't stick up for herself around confident ones. Her tower is home base, and her favorite thing is her foster mom sitting beside it to pet her.
Sunshine's ideal home is a quiet one, without a lot of commotion. A catio would be a bonus, so she can enjoy the outdoors she knows without the risk of escape or outdoor hazards. She needs cat-savvy, patient humans who will give her all the time she needs to get comfortable, let her come to them, and offer respectful love. She may never be a social girl, but it's all worth it when she perks up at the sight of you and comes out for pats.
