I've found my furever family!

Arti

We're happy to tell you that Arti has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Cats Page to see the pups currently available.

Arti is a very special feline who has had a horribly rough start. She showed up in an established cat colony, and the feeders could tell something was off. Arti was taken to be spayed when we realized she had facial injuries and her jaw was frozen shut. We suspect that she was attacked by a dog which caused her injuries. We quickly got her settled into a foster home and had a feeding tube put in to ensure she was getting the food she needed. Flash forward through so many vet visits, surgery at UT College of Veterinary Medicine, and recovery, and Arti is ready to meet her forever family. Because of the damage to her jaw (which moves enough for her to eat now!), it’s hard to know how old Arti is, but she has the sweetest young spirit. Arti chirps at other cats, loves stretching on scratching posts, and runs after balls and plastic springs. It takes her time to get comfortable in new situations, and even then, Arti is still very timid. If you approach her quietly and calmly, she’ll let you pet her and may even roll over for belly rubs! Arti must have other friendly cats in her forever home so she has other felines to give her confidence and companionship. Arti’s foster momma would love to tell you more about her!
