Bowzer is one of the friendliest, laidback boys we’ve ever met. He was brought to FFF as part of a TNR operation, but when he went to get neutered, we discovered he has heartworms. There is no cure for heartworms in cats other than surgery which isn’t ideal, but you can manage the infections and treat the symptoms. We’re not sure what his life will look like, but we know Bowzer deserves a chance. Because of his status, Bowzer is looking for a very special home! FFF will cover the cost of care related to his condition for the perfect forever home. Bowser is otherwise a normal cat! He loves hanging out with his humans on the couch, snoozing or enjoying some belly rubs. He’ll bat around a ball like a professional soccer player too! Bowser is pretty overwhelmed in his foster home, so we think he’d do best as an only cat or with only one other non-confrontational feline friend. Bowzer is fine with cat-savvy dogs too!
