Buckbeak came to FFF after his finder reached out for assistance. He was a community cat that had been recently returned to her home, but she knew he had no business being outside in this weather. Buckbeak is a distinguished old man with the best manners, happily giving out head butts to anyone that will pat him. We couldn’t let a cat like him sleep out in the cold, especially when he was begging at the door to come inside. Since he’s been in foster care, Buckbeak has proven to be very low maintenance, happily sleeping in a comfy bed and enjoying whatever food is offered to him. It’s clear he’s been on his own for a bit and needs some groceries - his dust ruffle could use some filling out! Buckbeak doesn’t mind other cats or dogs and is really focused on relaxing with his humans. He sounds perfect, right? The only issue is that Buckbeak has kidney issues and requires a special diet and fluids every 1-2 days. He's the easiest boy when it comes to giving him fluids, and he loves his kidney dry food! We anticipate that Buckbeak will be on fluids for the rest of his life.
