Hi there! I am Cadet, and have I got a story for you! My story is like so many homeless kitties - single mom, barely able to take care of myself and my kits. I found the KPD and tried to find the Safe Haven Baby Box. I wanted to make sure my babes did not have to grow up on the streets. Well, whose idea was it for that dang baby box to only be for human babies?? That is SOOO not right! So here we were, now living in the storm drain. This was not what I had in mind!!! As luck, and good cops would have it, my family was spotted. Next thing I knew all my beloved little babies were safe! Now I could rest a little easier.
But those KPD folks did not forget about me. They called in for back up, and next thing I knew, I was trapped and safe!! Whew! And I am an honorary KPD Cadet!
I am a little shy, but a real sweetheart. I get along great with all the critters and look forward to meeting my forever family!!
