Calypso Girl did such a good job raising her litter of four kittens after giving birth while still just a kitten herself. Calypso and her kittens were found in an abandoned barn on a vacant property by neighbors. We were contacted as they were concerned the little cat family had been dumped there, and it wasn't a safe location for any of them. Now that her kittens are ready to move on, Calypso also needs a safe place to land.
One year old Calypso is a beautiful long-haired calico girl, with a very loving personality. Her best feature may be that long fluffy tail she enjoys showing off. She is still working on feeling safe in her foster home, but making progress every day. She will immediately raise her head and respond to pets as she really loves attention. But she prefers a slow approach with kind soothing words for now.
Calypso Girl is being fostered with other cats, and she immediately greeted the more friendly cats in her foster home like they were long lost friends. A good fit for Calypso Girl may be a home with other friendly cats. Active or young children may be a bit overwhelming for her.
