Clementine came from a hoarding situation where she wasn’t properly cared for, resulting in some kind of injury that didn’t heal quite right. The joint deteriorated to the point that her front right leg needed to be amputated, but now that it’s gone, Clem is back to doing all the things she loves! If you’re looking for a quiet, reserved housecat, Clem is not the cat for you! She’s a bit of a bossy gal, always giving her foster momma a piece of her mind. She also bosses around the other felines AND canines in her foster home with her scratchy, insistent meow. Clem is probably never going to be besties with another pet, but she gets along with them fine as long as they know she’s the boss and give her space. She may only have one leg, but Clem enjoys using her only front paw to scratch on a cardboard scratcher for hours! She’s also a HUGE FAN of wet food - that’s when she gets really bossy… “Gimme those wets NOOOOOW!” When she’s ready for pats, Clem will climb into your lap and make one-pawed biscuits for you.
