Hi, I’m Cloudy, and I’m almost two years old. When I first came to my friends at Riverside Vet, I was very sick. They took me in, cared for me, and have been helping me feel better every single day. I’m still working on gaining back my weight and building my strength, but I’m trying really hard and making progress! I have Histoplasmosis, which is a fungal infection that can happen when animals breathe in spores found in bird or bat droppings. It sounds scary, but the kind people here are treating me and making sure I have everything I need to keep getting stronger. Even after everything I’ve been through, I still have so much love to give. I’m a very friendly cat who just wants to be close to people and get all the love I deserve. I haven’t had the chance to meet other dogs or cats yet, so we’re not sure how I feel about them. What I do know is that I’m hoping for a caring, loving forever home where I can continue healing and finally have the happy life every feline deserves. I’ve been through a lot for such a young cat, but my heart is still full of hope. Maybe the person I’ve been waiting for… is you!
