Dave will need you to have a little patience as he learns to trust you. He will let you pet him while he's eating...and boy does he LOVE to eat! He will sit on your lap to enjoy a lickable treat, but he doesnt like quick movements. He has been around 2 children under 6, and they are too much for him. He would do best in a home with older children and no dogs. He has been around 3 senior dogs 20-65lbs and wants nothing to do with them. He hisses as soon as they enter the room and would probably open up quicker if dogs were not present. He does LOVE other cats though and wants to play with them and do whatever they do. He is very playful and loves to chase balls and springs around the house. With a little patience and time he will be a great addition to your household.
