Declan prefers hanging with his siblings to sitting in laps, but you can get a purr if you are gentle and patient. He does like playing with toys, and he likes a father-figure type of older cat. Dogs still make him very nervous, so his ideal home would be canine free. He is a work in progress, but experienced cat owners with some time will have a fantastic (and probably large) silky lovebug as long as they are willing to wait.
