Garnet is a calm, majestic long-haired girl who has an odd penchant for laying on surge protectors. She will be slow to get comfortable around new people, but the moment you touch her cheek, she starts purring. She gets brushed every night because she absolutely loves it - if you hold the brush out she enthusiastically shoves her face against it and will start flopping over so you can brush her chest! She's the perfect cat for keeping you company while you're working from home without stepping all over your keyboard during meetings, because she seems to love just quietly observing everything around her from a choice vantage point like a desk. She has been good with her feline foster brother but has not been tested with dogs or kids. From her more reserved nature, we think she'd do best in a quieter home with calm older dogs and/or kids.
