Henderson (Hennie for short!) and her sister Elko and brother Sparks are super special kittens. What’s so special about them? They all three have cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), or wobbly cat syndrome. CH is a rare neurological disorder that affects a cat's balance and coordination. It occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls these functions, doesn't develop properly. They are totally normal kittens… except they wobble! Hennie’s mobility is definitely affected, and she doesn’t really walk but kind of crawls and flip flops to get to where she’s going. She very dramatically flings herself down for food (her second favorite time of day), but she always perks up for a catnip toy. She loves to wrestle with her siblings and doesn’t hold back! Hennie uses a litter box with a low lip to make it easier for her to get in and out, but as long as she can get in, she uses a box consistently. Hennie would love to be adopted with her favorite wrestling partner, brother Sparks!
