Jax and Janey were living outside at a home with a colony of other cats. Originally TNR'd, the two kittens kept asking for more human interaction. When we met them, they immediately climbed on us asking for affection. We soon discovered while they looked beautiful, their long fur was hiding how horribly matted they were. The fur was twisting and pulling their delicate skin, even causing it to start getting infected.
After a vet spa day where both had to have their fur shaved to start over, they are feeling great and purring for pets. When their fur grows in they will once again be beautiful. They are looking for a home where someone will have the time to brush them regularly because we promised them they would never have to endure the pain of matted fur again.
