“Jewel - A Feral Success Story.”
This girl was TNR'd behind a West Knox business thirteen years ago. She has been fed daily by her FFF caretakers and provided shelter although she preferred living in the drain. She would always be waiting patiently for her feeders to get there but she would never let anyone get closer than 10 feet, let alone touch her. Fast forward to several months ago when she was no longer welcome at the business. She was trapped and our plan was to relocate her to a barn. While at her foster's awaiting a barn, she decided that she no longer wanted to be feral!! After never being touched in thirteen years, she liked being petted! She liked that nice dry bed and 2 meals a day! She never hides and she has the loudest purr. She has been checked out at our vet and her bloodwork was great, her teeth were great, she is perfectly healthy after living in the elements for so long. It brings tears to our eyes to see a truly feral cat's successful transformation to a house cat. She now needs someone to give her the home she deserves for the rest of her years. She is a survivor who will appreciate your love more than you know!
