JJ was rescued from a situation of horrible neglect. It's taken him a while to get comfortable, as if he thinks it's too good to be true. His foster has been working on showing him that not all people are bad, that hands are also for petting. He loves to be petted but get nervous when you actually scratch him. JJ looks for confidence in other cats, so it’s required that he be adopted into a home with other friendly felines.
