Katrese's story is one of courage, determination, and unconditional love.
Katrese has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), often called "Wobbly Cat Syndrome." This neurological condition affects her balance and coordination, making her movements a little unsteady, but it is not painful, contagious, or progressive. Katrese doesn't let her wobbliness slow her down—she has learned to navigate the world in her own unique way.
Before coming into rescue, Katrese survived life outdoors despite the challenges her condition presented. Finding food, avoiding predators, and staying safe were all much harder for her than for the average cat. Yet through it all, she not only survived—she thrived enough to raise four beautiful kittens on her own. With no family to care for her, Katrese devoted herself to protecting and nurturing her babies until help finally arrived.
Now it's Katrese's turn to be cared for.
This sweet, resilient girl deserves a safe and loving home where she can leave her struggles behind and simply enjoy being a cherished companion. Her journey has proven that she is strong, adaptable, and full of heart. Katrese may wobble when she walks, but she stands tall where it matters most.
