Nellie is a nine-month-old calico with a story that almost went a very different way. Originally trapped as part of a TNR effort, she was scheduled to be returned outdoors—but the vet who met her immediately saw something special. Nellie wasn’t scared or shut down—she was instantly loving, leaning in for attention and showing everyone just how much she wanted to be someone’s cat. That’s when a call was made to FFF, and Nellie got her second chance.
Now safe inside, Nellie is exactly who she showed herself to be from the very beginning: affectionate, people-oriented, and full of love. She adores being with her humans, happily following you from room to room and soaking up every bit of attention you’ll give her. She’s still figuring out a few things—dogs are a bit of a question mark for her, and she prefers not to share her space with other cats. Nellie would be happiest as your one-and-only, where she can relax and enjoy all the love without competition.
