When Pilgrim was rescued, he was trapped in a garage with a badly broken leg that had healed improperly, leaving him to walk on three feet and one knee. Because the leg couldn't be repaired, it was surgically amputated, turning him into a "tripod" cat. Despite his initial fear, Pilgrim is a survivor. After his foster family worked hard to gain his trust, he has blossomed into a timid but loving cat who enjoys affection and is comfortable around other cats. While he is a confident climber and loves his cat tree, he is still hesitant on the floor and wary of, yet never aggressive toward, humans. Pilgrim needs a patient, special adopter—and plenty of Churu treats—to help him feel safe and secure in a forever home.
