Six-month-old Rostam was rescued after a Good Samaritan called about a cat in their backyard missing a leg. What we found was a kitten who had been severely injured. One amputation and a couple months of recovery later, Rostam is ready to take the next step and meet his forever family. Rostam is still nervous and will need an experienced cat owner who has patience to let him settle in. He doesn’t like when people approach him quickly or loudly, so most kids probably won’t be appropriate for him. He’s also very nervous about being picked up and held, although he’s getting better every day. Rostam is very food motivated and loves wet food and treats! He also loves sleeping in the bed with his humans. When he’s curled up and comfy, you can pet him and enjoy his massive purrs and plush fur. He also LOVES other cats and toys. Ribbon toys and catnip mice are his favorite, and he’ll throw them in the air and chase them around the room. His forever home must have at least one friendly younger feline. His foster home has two cat-savvy dogs, and Rostam doesn’t mind them at all. We can’t wait to find the perfect family for this super special guy… is it you?
