Meet Slater, a sweet and friendly cat from a TNR rescue, who is dreaming of a cozy home. Slater showed up at a house where the resident was feeding several cats last winter. Slater was different than the other cats who showed up for meals, asking for pets and trying to follow her into her house. The caregiver realized he wasn't cut out for winter survival outside and set up a heating pad in a shed for him. He was so appreciative he only left the shed for food, pets and bathroom breaks during the bitter cold months. When the resident asked for help with TNR, Slater won us over as he rolled around asking for pets. Everyone agreed (including Slater) that he is better suited for an inside home.
