Meet Steve—our big, soft-hearted former outside boy with a story that deserves a happy ending. Steve was found during a TNR project in a local colony, where a kind feeder shared that he once had a home. After his person passed away, Steve was left to fend for himself outside. Thankfully, he was trapped, neutered, vaccinated, and given a second chance at the life he clearly remembers—and loves. We haven’t known Steve long, but he’s already made quite the impression. He may look a little intimidating at first (he is a BIG boy!), but the moment he leans in for head bunts, rubs all over you, and starts sweetly meowing for attention, you realize he’s just a giant lovebug. Steve does well with other cats and is settling into indoor life like he never left. He hasn’t been tested with dogs yet, but with his easygoing, affectionate nature, we think he has so much potential. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big head and an even bigger heart, Steve is your guy.
