Tennessee came to FFF with a nasty eye injury that led to an enucleation. She’ll be the first to tell you that one eye is just as good as two! Tennessee is what we call a cat’s cat - she LOVES other cats. Whether they’re playing, napping, eating, or anything else, she loves being around other playful, friendly felines. She’s always out and about, running at top speed after a kitten or wrestling with a cat more of her own size. Tennessee loves lounging in window hammocks too, keeping her one eye trained on any activity in the backyard. She’s also never late to meals and will sit patiently for you to give her some wet food! What’s the catch? Tennessee wants nothing to do with human hands… unless they are offering a Churu or swinging around a ribbon toy! She prefers that humans don’t pet her, pick her up, or otherwise touch her. She’s getting better about trusting, but Tennessee still needs some time to see if pats are good. She’s also indifferent to cat-savvy dogs, and we think she’d be ok older kids who respect her space.
