Thumbs lost his soulmate human, and that made him really angry and scared. He spent some time lashing out at anyone who talked to him and trying to hide from the world. But one night, he seems to have realized he was lonely and longing for comfort that only a person could provide. He meowed at his foster mom for the first time who heard exactly what he was saying, and he has cuddled up in her lap for a while every evening since then. What he does during the day is a bit of a mystery, as he is very good at hiding when he wants to! But when the sun goes down he pads his way out on those giant feet to greet her and some of the other cats in the house as well. So far he’s not really interested in playing, and any sounds of conflict between other cats or the sudden appearance of a dog will send him skittering back into hiding. But he is a clever, curious cat who thinks doors and cabinets are meant to be opened - you’ve been warned! Has he used those thumbs to open your heart and home to his explorations?
