Three and a half month old Rye was living in a colony of cats on a small farm. When her colony was trapped for TNR and Rye came into our care, we fell in love with her sweet demeanor and the way she would turn her little head into our hands for pets. We soon saw how beautiful she was with her big green eyes and classic contrasting black and brown tabby coat. When her caretaker asked if we could find inside homes for some of the cats to reduce the number she fed outside, little Rye immediately came to mind. Rye can be a little timid initially, but she loves pets and with very little time will become more confident as she continues to grow up. Older kids or adults might be the best fit for her due to her initial shyness.
